The complete transformation is beautifully framed by timeless and simple landscaping, which was designed to highlight the home’s architecture without competing with it. The result is a home that feels both brand new and deeply rooted, a perfect synthesis of its rich history and a modern vision. It stands as a powerful example of how a thoughtful renovation can unlock a home's full potential.
Named "The Henry," this project is a testament to Mauro Builders' ability to transform a home into a refined, bespoke living space. This was not a new construction, but a full-scale renovation that breathed new life into an existing residence in Fairfield. Our goal was to honor the home's original character while meticulously updating every detail to meet the sophisticated standards of modern design and functionality.
The exterior's transformation set the tone for the entire project. The existing home was given a fresh identity with a striking combination of classic white shingles and modern vertical siding, creating visual interest and texture. An elegant paver walkway was installed, leading to a new, inviting front entrance. This attention to detail extends to the exterior living spaces, which were reimagined to be as functional as they are beautiful, complete with a cozy outdoor fireplace perfect for year-round gatherings.
